Digital Images and Impressions

Our practice is dedicated to providing you with the safest and most convenient treatment options available. Digital X-rays provide several imaging options designed to save time, provide clearer dental radiographs, and expose patients to less radiation than traditional X-ray technology.

Swift Current Dental offers patients routine dental x-rays using the panorex images outside of the mouth. This makes taking routine xrays very easy and pain free for patients, including ones with a strong gag reflex.

Our digital scanner allows us to take an accurate 3D image of your mouth for crowns and bridges. This allows patients who are fearful of gagging, or claustrophobic, to be more comfortable throughout the procedure. This technology has allowed many patients to get their much needed dental work completed.

Infection Control

Infection control in our office is also very important to us. To protect our patients and ourselves, we do regular testing and maintain sterilization and cross contamination processes using standards recommended by the Canadian Dental Association (CDA), the College of Dental Surgeons of Saskatchewan and the University of Saskatchewan.

Nitrous Oxide

Nitrous Oxide is a common form of sedation that may be provided upon request during dental procedures to relieve anxiety in children and adults. Nitrous Oxide is combined with oxygen in order to produce a calming effect. Patients can resume normal activities and drive themselves following dental treatments.
